It's summer which means another season of excellent music courtesy of the Fairfax County Park Authority and generous contributions from local businesses and corporation.. The concerts are held in parks throughout the county and the performers range from big band, jazz, bluegrass, rock, classical and world music. My favorite park is Nottoway Park - only a few miles away - which features the strongest lineup. We are talking

Cathy Ponton King. Yes,
Toubab Krewe - playing in Vienna on their trip down to
Floydfest. Other significant artists are
