The Grammy Nominations & Categories To Follow

WAMU's Bluegrass Country: Stars of the State Concert

On Saturday June 11th, we attended the Stars of the State Concert, celebrating the 10th anniversary of WAMU's Bluegrass Country. The station was able to book some amazing talent to play at the State Theatre: The Steep Canyon Rangers, The Boxcars, and Frank Solivan and Dirty Kitchen. Stars at The State - WAMU’s Bluegrass Country’s 10th anniversary concert

2011 marks the 10 year anniversary of WAMU’s Bluegrass Country as a dedicated a 24-hour bluegrass radio station. In celebration of this milestone, on Saturday June 11th they are hosting a night of music at The State Theatre in Falls Church, VA. The concert features The Steep Canyon Rangers, The Boxcars, and Frank Solivan & Dirty Kitchen. Tickets are only $25 and limited in quantity, so purchase from the venue early.
