Our friends at LevonHelm.com sent us a message reminding us that the legendary performer has received his second consecutive Grammy nomination, this time for Electric Dirt
. Obviously Levon Helm is thriving despite recovering from recent throat cancer. He has followed Dirt Farmer
, which won a 2008 Grammy for "Best Contemporary Folk Album" with another successful CD - this time nominated in the "Best Americana Album" category. Congratulations.
