Sarah Siskind: Live at Jammin Java

Last night our favorite local venue,  Jammin' Java, hosted Sarah Siskind who is touring in support of her new CD Novel. Viewers of MyJoogTV should remember her episode with Travis Book at the Devils Backbone Brewery during last year's Festy. And we recently reviewed
Novel at MyJoog here. But this night was a perfect example why its important to view performers live. At times, studio work misses the power associated with a specific song or a performer's voice. And that is the case with Ms. Siskind. A live performance showcases her amazing vocals and also displays some nifty guitar picking that is lost in the studio work. And her new CD still comes highly recommended.  The title track may be my new favorite, so check it out and let us know your favorite.
